DAN SELOCK, LCPC, LSOE, LSOTP

Dan brings nearly 20 years of experience helping individuals make meaningful, lasting change.

A graduate of Southern Illinois University with a master’s in rehabilitation counseling, Dan is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and one of the few in our region certified as both a Licensed Sex Offender Evaluator (LSOE) and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP) through the State of Illinois.

Dan works with individuals and groups coping with addictions, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, psychosis, violence issues, and sexual misconduct. He also has extensive experience supporting individuals and families impacted by gun violence and the profound loss of a child. His compassionate, person-centered approach—grounded in the Good Lives Model—helps clients recognize strengths, take accountability, and build more stable, fulfilling lives.

At Elliott Counseling Group, we’re proud to offer sex offender evaluation and treatment services guided by the Illinois Sex Offender Management Board, focusing on rehabilitation, accountability, and prevention. As Dan puts it, this work offers hope to those “ready to take the first step toward a brighter future.”
