About the Group

We are so excited to present the community with an opportunity for those with symptoms of a chronic illness to gather together, share their stories and experiences, and work towards a healthier and happier life.

This group places emphasis on a holistic approach to lifestyle, with a heavy focus on education and exploration of one's personal wellness. We recognize and value the story and experience of each individual, and though the diagnoses may differ person to person, the main goal and expected outcome of the group remains the same--
to HEAL by making small, yet impacting steps on your ultimate wellness journey

Sheerine Bazargani, LPC

Sheerine supports, guides and provides a non-judgemental space for the individuals she works with. She is an expert with addiction and/or ADHD, but also specializes with anxieties, mood disorders, personality disorders, depression, and of coping with chronic illness.

Her personal experience with holistic health dates back to her childhood years, with a family who valued holistic health and lifestyle at an early age. Through the years, Sheerine has gained personal insight on just how important living your best life is with ADHD and other health issues. She is also a certified yoga instructor.

Shayla Parker, LCPC

Shayla Parker has been a therapist since 2001. She is a natural at establishing connections with client built on trust, empathy, and mutual understanding. Shayla's primary focus is in treating anxiety disorders. She also loves working with couples, and of course, those with chronic illness. She often discovers that anxiety is not "all in your head."

Shayla has personal experience with chronic illness and the impact it can have on all areas of life, through fighting her own health battles.

The maximum, out-of-pocket cost of the 12-week group is $720. Most insurance plans have this as a covered benefit! If this is the case for you, you will be responsible for a co-pay or deductible of no more than $30. If you do not have insurance, or this is not covered, we have an affordable sliding-scale option available. Our Client Care team will help you navigate this and determine your cost.
