Haley Hasbargen is a post-graduate student with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois. Haley has a dedication to mental health and counseling services that is hard to match-- she often takes it upon herself to research, read, and study different topics so that she can provide the best, quality care she can to her clients. Haley has experience with Veterans at the VA struggling with PTSD and trauma, substance abuse and addiction, and grief. Haley has a true niche when it comes to connecting to younger women and men, especially those facing depression and anxiety, and also with individuals experiencing gender and identity issues. She enjoys working with college aged students experiencing adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, and others.
Haley has a talent for making personal, relatable connections with her clients and creates a safe, nonjudgmental space for all. She works with clients to find solutions-- teaching coping skills, tricks, and strategies that can be implemented in every-day life. Haley uses active listening and positive regard.
