Kathleen Wirth-Couch is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters of Clinical Counseling from Eastern Illinois University. She has worked in the school systems for nearly two decades, assisting teachers with children who have special needs as well as IEPs. Kathleen has also worked in a therapeutic residential programming with children. Much of her work is centered around adolescents that have issues throughout the school systems as well as experienced persistent emotional abuse and other traumas.
Kathleen has experience working with adults in managing career and vocational issues, couples and family conflict, stress and depression. She utilizes an eclectic blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Emotionally Focused approaches
