Keri Offenstein is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor, with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Eastern Illinois University. She has a wide range of interests and experience, and has worked with clients who are dealing with relationship problems, adjustment issues, substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management, self-harm, psychotic disorders, suicidal thinking, and chronic mental illness.
Keri utilizes a strengths-based, client-centered, and empowering approach to counseling that takes the whole person into account, and has experience with the assessment and treatment of individuals with chronic mental illness and individuals who are dealing with self-harm and suicidal thoughts. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a wide variety of clientele, and her first priority is always to create a supportive and accepting space for clients at any stage of their recovery.
Interesting Fact 1: I have a black belt in Taekwondo, and also teach Taekwondo in my spare time.
